Information
Session 10, hosted by the POSTECH Peace Institute, will focus on building an inclusive partnership for sustainable peace cooperation. Peace is itself a goal, a core value and an important precondition for achieving other SDGs. Peaceful cooperation requires cooperation not only from the government but also from the private level. In particular, global partnerships for sustainable development between universities and research institutions can contribute to the implementation and achievement of the SDGs Goal 16.

And if we continue to expand inclusive global partnerships through peaceful cooperation between universities and research institutes in each country, we can contribute to creating a peaceful, fair and inclusive society as outlined in SDGs Goal 16.

In addition, experts from a wide range of disciplines at universities and research institutes will be able to discuss inclusive global partnerships, as well as effective, responsible and inclusive systems at all levels, as outlined in Goal 16.

Organization Information
POSTECH Peace Institute was established on September 3, 2018 to contribute to achieving peace on the Korean Peninsula by acting as a preparatory work to establish economic integration and socio-economic networks on the Korean Peninsula. In the long term, it aims to develop into a think tank for inter-Korean economic cooperation and unification.

We are currently conducting various academic events such as the Peace Forum, and publishes the Korea Report and Weekly PPI Briefing to analyze issues related to unification and peace and to raise interest in unification and peace issues.
