‘PyeongChang spirits of peace’ and public diplomacy

The 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics is an important historical opportunity and challenge for the peace of domestic cities and public diplomacy through sports.
Pyeongchang participated Jeju forum in the 2019 and 2021 with a session to discuss the Pyeongchang spirits of peace in terms of the Korean Peninsula and sports diplomacy.
At the 4th Pyeongchang Peace Forum in 2022, Pyeongchang will discuss ways to integrate the Pyeongchang spirits of peace and public diplomacy in the sports and OD, and find strategies and projects to put it into practice.

PyeongChang Peace Center
Organization Information
Pyeongchang Peace Center was established as an institution in charge of managing the the olympic legacy after the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic games.
It is a specialized institution for the realization of a Pyeongchang peace city and the globalization of the spirit of peace.
It is in charge of planning and research on the Pyeongchang agenda for peace(PCAP) adopted at the Pyeongchang Peace Forum and the implementation plan of the agenda. In addition, it is carrying out projects to build a peace network and realize the value of peace through cooperation with domestic and international peace cities and organizations.
