Information
This session protects the continuous journey toward peace and permanent human rights by going over the importance and necessity of enhancing inter-Korean relations and bringing peace to the Korean peninsula with the subject of the right to peace. In addition, through an effort towards bringing peace, this session prepares the significant change of peace in the Korean peninsula started from Pyeongchang in 2018. This session analyzes domestic and foreign environments related to human rights to peace. This session also focuses on human rights violations caused by the Korean war and the divided nation, and searches for ways to actualize human dignity and values through sustainable peace and human rights education.

Organization Information
The Gangwon Province Human Rights Commission, an institute that protects the human rights of citizens
of Gangwon-do, is founded according to the ordinance. We serve the role of a deliberating advisory board
about primary policies for the protection and enhancement of human rights, and establish a human rights
master plan for Gangwon-do"s residents. We also promote human rights policies, conduct human rights
counseling and education, investigate and redress when human rights abuse.
